Writer, F.M. Dostoevsky traveled to Baden-Baden, twice, and almost all the time spent in the casino. In his novel "The Gambler" ("Der Spieler" - Germany), which was released after his first visit to Baden-Baden, he describes all of their experiences. In one of the houses of the city, above the shop Soso, you can see the bust of F.M. Dostoevsky. In this house Dostoevsky lived with his young wife Anna Grigoryevna.
